 Why Dyscalcemia Matters

Dyscalcemia is defined as blood Ca below 8.8 mg/dL at 4 DIM. Although cows may show no outward signs, lower blood Ca levels can lead to reduced milk production, lower fertility rates and higher health risks, including risk of removal from the herd.
